Ireland

From 3/3/2004

I want to feel her inside me
The Earth
The moss
The wetness of the wind
I want to absorb her
Melt into the mystical
Forget who ‘I’ am
And become one with her
The rush and the hurry pull me away
Filling me with regret
And a tearing of myself at the seams
Streams through me
My heart lingering behind
In the forest
In the mountains
In the crisp Irish air
All the time in the world would be enough time
To lose myself here
To let go of ‘me’
And become her
To become Ireland.
